This is the place and the persons who are present to give guidancce, answer your questions, and address concerns as new members begin in their Freedom Experience.

  • P.A.L. (Passing Around Love)
    These team members greet each new member and are assigned one-on-one to every new member, providing them with a helpful hand and a joyful friend in their early days as newcomers in our church family.

    This is the telephone team that will contact inactive members to encourage and guide them towards active participation and regular worship attendance.


COVENANT CARE

    An opportunity to render service in the church to the congregation on the behalf of the Pastor. The team is an extension of the Pastor's spiritual care over the membership.

    For members who experiencing health challenges, this group reaches out with visits, cards, phone calls, to speak and share LIFE, regardless of the medical prospects.

    This team is responsible for the coordination of the Sunday morning rides for members who wish to come to worship.

    A group of Christian women whose sole purpose is to minister in the spirit of Dorcas in Acts 9:36, whose life was given to the performance of good deeds and helping people in times of need.

DISCIPLESHIP DEVELOPMENT
Providing teaching, learning, training opportunities for the church to grow in ministry of Jesus Christ.

  • Leadership Development
    To make every member a learner, an evangelist, a missionary, a follower of Jesus Christ, a committed Christian -- a disciple. Develop all church-wide teaching ministries and conferences. Enlist, train, and assign all teachers.

  • L.I.F.E. (Learning Insights For Eternity)
    This is Freedom's three-year curriculum designed to provide a wide range of Bible study and faith foundation classes. Instructors are selected and trained from the Freedom Church family by the Discipleship Development Team Leader. All Classes are designed to last seven weeks.

MEN'S MINISTRIES/MEN OF STANDARDS
These are the men who keep order in the sanctuary and monitor the facilities. They assist in ushering, offering, and other duties in the worship place as assigned by the Pastor. Additionally, they will provide security for the pastor and guest ministers at all times.

    The Weekly men's Bible study group. These brothers gather together and give themselves to prayer, Bible study and discussion.

    This is a mentoring program that provides a chance for the men to link up with the young fellows. It is a chance to provide activities and strong male role models.

MEDIA & PUBLICATIONS
To Provide the methods and means whereby the work, worship, and ministries of the Freedom Church become publicized and promoted throughout the greater Chicago area. It is the assignment of this team to embrace and express what Jesus says the church is to do with getting the word out about the Gospel and saving power of our Christ.
